NIKE VICTORY MODE
FIRST OF ITS KIND AR SPATIAL COMPETITION
This super lens combines multiple complex connected features into one persistent field of play in the sky — bridging together physical and digital worlds.
BACKGROUND
Nike is launching a new brand identity around the Olympics, all about winning. To set the stage, they’re hosting City Games events (Victory Mode) across Greater Paris in May. They tapped Snap and Arcadia as a key innovation partner to augment every aspect of this initiative.
IDEA
We're owning the Paris Skyline with a real-time super-lens that connects exclusive Nike experiences into one gamified environment. From a live scoreboard with a custom ranking system to a real-time compass in the sky, we combined a suite of integrated features into one seamless AR Lens.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
The tone embraced a bold unapologetic spirit of Nike. We looked for visual inspiration that would honor this classic Nike spirit.
ART DIRECTION
We grounded the look and feel from the classic Nike orange and brought in metallic and transparent textures to enhance the spatial design.
OUTPUT
The overall design and art direction were implemented into marketing materials, UI design, and the augmented reality experience.
